Our New Addition

It was a hoppin' week for us last week and we're off to the races again this week too!

We added a new addition to our family this past Thursday evening. Isn't it sharp??

I have to say, working for JWT, I deal with Ford, Lincoln & Mercury vehicles on a daily basis (or at least the photos of them). Anyway, we decided on this little Ford number.

Believe it or not, this is a Focus SEL, and it's not your grandma's Focus either. This little baby has great body styling (it's come a long way baby) and is completely loaded.

This is the inside:It's black on black, has a leather interior, the Sync audio system, which is super neat - we've never had a car that you can talk to and have it talk back- hmmm, maybe that's a bad thing....... :) - We still need to figure out the use of sync with the cell phone, but we've got the Sync & iPod down to a science already.

It's got butt warmers, heated mirrors, ambient lighting (this is a very cool feature - 7 different colors for floor and cup holder lighting in the front & back seats), chrome highlights on the exterior (skull caps on the mirrors, sides, front), a moon roof, remote starter, 6 disc CD player, Sirius Radio, a huge trunk and more! It's roomy, comfortable, drives great and is pretty sweet!

Right now it's getting about 32-33 miles a gallon, which is absolutely HUGE with gas prices going up again now that summer is right around the corner. We can get 440 or more miles out of a tank of gas. WOO HOO, we're doing the happy dance!

So, that's some of the excitement at our house.

Congrats to the Grad!

Graduation season has arrived and we have to congratulate John on graduating from nursing school. This evening we celebrated with John's family and had a great time. Dinner was great and so was the company (and of course, entertainment.....see below). My cousin Eric is the life of any party! Leave it to he and my mom to pose for a photo op like this - nothing good about an empty wine bottle!We had such a fun time and are so proud of John's accomplishment!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Wishing all the mom's everywhere a wonderful Mother's Day!
We had the chance to celebrate yesterday with our mom's (we let the dad's join the party too).
We usually celebrate Mother's Day and a few birthdays at the same time, so of course, we had a dessert that included lit candles.

I think my favorite of the two photos is the one where both dads and mom K are blowing out the candles.
We had a wonderful time yesterday and we all ate well. No cooking for us today, it will be a 'tover night.
