What the SNOW?!

Isn't it supposed to be Spring? That's what the calendar says, but I guess Momma Nature was a bit confused about the 'WHITE-OUT' to support the Spartans tonight vs. the WHITE-OUT heavy, wet, snow. This was what we woke up to this morning.....
Actually we woke up at 4:05 this morning to a transformer blowing up, nothing like having to try & figure out what time it is in the middle of the night......the clock in the spare room that runs on batteries was on the old day light saving schedule so it read 5:05, when it was actually 4:05. Guess we'll have to reset that tonight to avoid confusion in the instance that this happens again anytime soon. Welcome to Monday!
On a high note, we're looking forward to watching the MSU Spartans play their way to victory tonight.
Hope you're having a snow free Monday.....

Spring?

Hmmmmmm, while the calendar says Spring is officially here, I think good ole' Momma Nature is a bit confused. This was the snow progression yesterday afternoon starting about 4 pm (so much for the snow arriving at midnight like the forecasters originally said). We ended up with about 2" after everything was all said & done. Hmmmph, not sure about you, but we are MORE than ready for Spring. We've got bulbs that are already coming up.......crazy Michigan weather!
This past week has been pretty busy - we've had a lot of things going on. Wednesday was the first Kronk Gym Fundraiser that took place at the Townsend in Birminghan. You can check out some of the "seen & be seen" photos from the event here. It was a great event - I think everyone enjoyed themselves and funds were raised to help with the gym.
Then, Saturday, I hosted my Entertaining at Home Party. It was a nice afternoon I got to spend with some girlfriends and our mom's as well. Dad and Glen were banished to the 'Man Cave' ;o) and spent the afternoon searching for sports to watch, unfortunately, Food Network was the best they could do.
And HOW ABOUT THOSE SPARTANS?! Although we are a Maize & Blue household, we are more than happy to root for the Green & White when they're not playing the Wolverines. Needless to say, you know what we'll be tuned into this weekend!
Well, hang in there on this cold winter like Monday!
